Some space rats got into Quantum Universal Stabilization Room and uh... one thing led to another and they ate all the cables keeping the universe together! So the whole universe is going to implode! The scientists from Earth Central have predicted that the universe will collapse on June 23rd at 1PM EST!

For new players who don't know what this is, we re-randomize the universe in Star Sonata every 3-4 months to keep things interesting. All player bases, drones, and ships hanging about in stasis will vanish. Any constructions in progress or items left on player bases when the universe ends will be lost.

You will appear in your current ship in a random galaxy when you join the new universe, and all of your previously docked ships will appear at the first AI base that you dock at. If you make a mistake with where you first dock, there is a /limbo command you can use 1 time within the first 24 hours of the universe to undock them so they'll reappear at a different base.
