its simply way too high, 2 shms using RRs didnt nearly outheal it that is something that just doesnt seem right. check/fix plox /me wants the chance of getting emp launch tubes again

i used to do emp with a single shm and dm, with the shm never having to switch to a rr with 2 shm there is more hps and yet it cant outheal something is obviously up with its rof

the blatant opposite stance of some people is not only annoying its dangerous as bugs wont get fixed. Stop trying to solve reported bugs without even seeing them. This guy doesnt say "cant do emp without a zerk"... no he simply states emp rof is too high/ rof has increased. Stop fucking cheerleading admins every post its getting on my pisser. If you have observed the bug then add but stop patronising people.

First, we've been doing it fine before with a zerk or DM as a tank(because of their naturally good resists and their resist skill).

Second, Paxx/MT have been using a sniper to tank damage. And knowing full well snipers don't get the awesome resist skill.

Third, I do notice the ROF increase, but I also know even with it, I've been on runs where there was a zerk or DM present to be the tank. Most of them didn't fail.

So far, I've only been on two fail emp runs after noticing the ROF increase. The first of the two fails failed not because the tank couldn't tank, but because we didn't have a second sniper to deal DPS to Emp and his (Jey) "25k-30k regen" outregened the one sniper's dps.

The other one was where the zerk was stupid and came in a non hostility(outside evil mods and zerk skills, ofc) setup. My sniper got aggro and the shms could not keep up. I popped, then one of the two shms. Rest of squad died shortly after first shm.

This is an issue, as it affects more than this boss. In Olympus, several bosses, or mini-bosses also had their rate of fire increased a ton. The burning question is: Was this intentional or not?

I've yet to meet any boss that had so much rate of fire that I could not do him, so if it was intentional, then I am fine with it. If it was unintentional, I think it would be in place to redo (what I predict is) the mentioned bug.

Correct. I'm not sure whether the increase in RoF actually increased his DPS, but the constant tweak it imparts is very real and troubling.
