I just built 3 Sup Drone Controllers on my Bonecrusher alt for my Bonehead alt. The problem is that they need to be built or picked up by the alt that is going to use them AND THERE IS NO WARNING THAT THEY ARE NEURO BOUND.
The BP or ever the sales listing should have a warning. Like listing Neuro Bound BPs in RED. And clearly marking them as being Neuro Bound. Or allow them to be xferred from alt to alt and whichever alt equipped or used the item(s) first has it Neuro bound to it. This is not a suggestion it is a big fat BUG. It says Item: (Neurobound) *Type of Drone Controller*. The Blueprint description also says "Creates a neurobound drone doohickey" It did not use to have that description some time ago, and then it was even worse, but it was added in a warning and I think it is pretty obvious. I guess this is down to actually reading the blueprint before you add it and build the item, and not a bug. |

It would make sense to have a confirmation screen. "Warning, completing this action will make these items locked to this character. Are you sure you want to proceed?"

Even the smartest of us has our stupid moments, and we all deserve a second chance to consider what we're really doing. It's simple, it would happen rarely enough for it not to be inconvenient, so I really don't see what the problem would be with this. _________________ http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1408128/Demiser_of_D landswimmer wrote: ALL HAIL CYG THE MESSIAH! |

Drone controllers and imp seals are the only neurobound built items if i'm not mistaken... Kind of an unnecessary feature for a handful of items that are well known to be neurobound.

First of all the Sup Drone Controllers shouldn't be Neuro Bound... there simply is no sane reason for it. There's nothing special about any of the build materials that would suggest they would be or needed to be Neuro Bound.

Does it happen to be your alt?
A smart person makes sure to read the whole BP before building an item. This reminds me of the noobs who tried building UZ ships in the last week of the universe. Just as dumb as anyone who intentionally DOES NOT read the bp for a NB item. _________________ Salt Assault drew this conclusion from the latest devblog. Battlecruiser23 wrote: A smart person makes sure to read the whole BP before building an item. And a smart dev should know better than making a BP built item NB when it contains no NB commods. There simply is no sane reason for the Sup Drone controllers to be NB in the first place. |
