Im not sure it might even be the lag thats doing it i know it has 15% chance failure rate but it shouldnt fail in a row

Re: Just a few bugs
The 15% chance to fail is simply the area of the probability wheel that the PWI could land failure on when used. Over many PWI jumps, you can get to a point where it fails 100 times in a row, but that is 100 times out of 1500 jumps, literally being a 15% fail rate.
Hopefully this clarifies it failing twice in a row. I'll admit that mine failed five times in a row one time.

Re: Just a few bugs
I notice if I panic PWI and double, triple tap it quickly it won't move me. It will use the elect but not perform. If I am out in the middle of no where though and I get a PWI failure it jumps me in the wrong direction. It seems like this first failure is not the same as the 15% fail rate failure.

Re: Just a few bugs
PWI failure is any distance (between 0 and 2501) and any direction, iirc. It could jump you forward 1 distance, or you could jump you 1500 distance at a weird angle.

Re: Just a few bugs
From my use, I've seen that the PWI is non-ethereal. So if you're 1500 distances away from a warp, and facing it. If you PWI (successfully) you will stop at 1500 distance, directly on the warp.
Likewise, if you're near a large sun, plant or warp - even an asteroid. You will not go anywhere being stopped by the object.

-Platinum All warp devices do that.

Re: Just a few bugs
all warper have some issues if you are pressing certain keys as you warp it won't work. Even happens with a sing brake that doesn't fail.

Yeah, that was a nasty surprise to be fighting -X-'s Engineer HM, and get him to about 20%, for him to scoop drones and Sing Brake to the gate and warp through. The galaxy he warped into was Perilous Outpost :(

Re: Just a few bugs
I don't think you realize, but that was The Jiggly Butts Gang. Do you see Jiggly Butts anywhere around? No. It was obviously 6-12 months ago. And if there was any player who would know what changed, it's the one who spends 8 hours a day on the forum. I KNOW what happened. I'm DESCRIBING what happened ages ago when someone realized he could use a Singularity Brake for combat purposes.
