You forgot to mention that the zeus throne has TWICE the resists of the PBF...which means twice the shield bank and twice the shield regen. And Shm's act like they're doing twice the damage.

You also forget that you need to squeeze a damn good engine in with that to combat the -turning and -thrust on the Hibernation Augmenter

Not really, in my opinion. I have several setups that does fine with Hibernation Augmenters, you just need tweaks, bar skills, and a suited engine (Does not mean you need a damn good engine).

Back on topic, the Zeus Throne needs a beef. I consider myself the only person using a Zeus Throne actively, and that is because mine is auged for tractoring and supportive reasons for the rest of my squad, without being as large and bulky as a Red Photon Carrier and therefore not being hit in collision codes. What am I trying to say? There are not many people in this game that have the use for a ship like that. And I don't even use any of the inbuilt items when I use my Zeus Throne.

yes it have around 2 times the resist thats true
5200000 weight on a PBF might indeed be a small problem with a hibernation aug, a UHLT or PLT can solve that and as thermal said barskills can do a lot in there

but we are talking about a t20 ship that cost around 5-8b to build and a t21 ship that costs 200-300b to built

precisely.. The balance sheets quite obviously got lost on the way to work when someone opened the window of the car.. Jeff has always said that cost was a factor in his balance sheets.. If that is so the ZT should make the PBF look like a child's toy.

And if the sheets do actually take into account rarity and costs like Jeff said there is no way you could compare them realistically. It would be like comparing a warden to a zebra. (Iv actually played long enough to have seen the days when a warden could take on an Izer and win..warden was the shit!)

Don't make the Zeus Throne become another Assault Behemoth+. Which means, don't make it a really expensive ship with cheaper alternatives that can compare easily, and then after a long time getting a sufficient beef to match it's build cost and rareness.

Its more likely to stay in cobwebs with the exception of the lucky olly runs where the ship drops or someone manages to scare up the credits and materials. Sorta like RadX back in the day.. was stupid hard to make work and cost a lot to do it.. So...everyone was a sniper, SD, MF, DM(its drone master..not engineer ya bums!) and shm instead. Heck...I think Quantum was the only person to ever use it back then..

not really
the class is engineer and drone master is a subskill of it

just give the ZT a small beef like +600% shield and energy bonus in staid of 400% then it would match the PBF. the PBF have more DPS but is less tank then a ZT

Disclaimer: I don't have a T21 ship. And my FC is long gone. And, I hate it when serious people tell me to use 2 Hera+ for my Dreads, both my gunner and my FC.

Opinions: A 3 aug slot Capital ship that isn't skimping on the hull or resists would be a great idea. And make it useful for both hitting hard and for controlling a fleet, because unlike the Warship/Carrier, it has to do both.

Maybe even scrap the idea of +Shield bonus altogether and make it a massive resist tank.

It was drone master, and all of it's offensive capabilities (which make things die, and make DGs possible.) are drones. Therefore... It is still Drone Master.

But back on topic, I like the idea of adding a third aug slot. If we have to we could cut the shields and energy bonus as a trade.

It has lower Shield and Energy inbuilt bonuses as it is, and considering it consumes Platinum to make, I don't see that it would need anything to compensate the 3rd aug slot.
