I believe the Heavy Charging Ares War Horses also should be put under the revamp-lamp.

I readily believe that but have not built the item yet myself so I can't comment on specific stats.

For those who are just coming to the thread, the point is that a lot of the higher tier Ares engines seem to have a really high weight stat, which makes their handling on SD setups significantly worse than with engines like Mzungu Flying Contrast, or even the Emperor's Propulsor.

If a high end t21 engine handles worse than a t16 ruin engine(not a high tier like BMForce or Momentumer), then it needs something done.

I'm not greatly familiarized with the Speed Demon world; would 18300 thrust and 4740 turning be acceptable, at cost of increased visibility (90).

That would be the easiest change without making the engine out of line from the structure that Olympus gear uses.

How about picking on something else then Vis mainly due to Seers lets pick on something SDs like insted? :D

Every other engine in the line has medium visibility. The low vis tag is really messing up the engine's handling.

heavy charging ares war horses has 4.9k more thrust, 960 more turning at the cost of 170 more size and 123k more weight. for the exact same inbuilt stats.

doesnt look promising to me but I'm no math whiz.

As said, any upgrade from a Charging Ares War Horses is just useless.

Now with she's gone, who's gonna look into it?
I don't even see it in ''Suggestions Under Consideration'' forum. Sumone has to do sumthing about it.

It would be nice if a dev could just boost the Visibility stat on Ares Black Stallions to 90 to match the rest of the line, and see what kind of bonus to thrust and turning the balance sheets would allow. To remind everyone what this thread was all about, Ares Black Stallions gives worse handling than Charging Ares War Horses on any typical SD setup, even though it takes two of those to build.

This is a problem with high tier ares gear in general - the weights spike up out of control.
