My guess is you weren't in the envelopment properly, because that's the method I use every time.

The problem I had before was that the item would open up behind me (probably server lag) and therefore I had brake a bit to get "under" it. Probably the reason why I was hit. Still, the drones all whacked me at once that time. Surely at least one would have been stopped by the item?

I also found that to be true of the Steppes/Ruby AI drones.

I now use my seer to fetch stuff from hyper.

On a site note, using speed + the item seems to fool Nihilite/Warptastic's. The seem to have a lower reaction time, and one can slip in before the drone(s) notice. Much trickier with Nihilite's, though.


But, on the ethereal Nihilites that are not, maybe it's related to the fact that Willow o' Wisps, when first introduced, used OHL's...that jumped targets, yet in the hands of a player, was a normal OHL.
