This was not originally my idea, I heard it from Twir first and there was some further debate as to whose it truly was originally, but I think it would be awesome to actually have the Urqa or some other race actively invading! Different user level ranges would be responsible for helping out in different areas, with their respective paxian allies of course! Low level would be responsible for Nexus and then Celestial Gardens. Above that Sol would need to be protected. For the much stronger, Wild Space has to be rescued, and Perilous Space is just about exclusively for full ubers of course. If we could stage battles or times when massive attacks would be coming in, that would be cool, and those who participate get like an xp bonus or some more credits. Or maybe nothing, just the fun of repelling them, as the story line hints at!

Indeed there is already code in place to Support Alien invasions in C2, although no content was made to use it yet (its quite a big thing and it was more important to make sure the current content work, than add another big feature with C2 launch).

I would expect alien invasions to come shortly after C2 is launched, but i dont really have any dates yet.
