Would it be possible to change the lagrange control skills so they would be useful for all weapons in some way rather then either the multi projectile or low recoil ones?

No. The lagrange skills open the path to a ton of fun, unique strategies. They're not really so useful at higher levels, but as a lowbie you can do some rather absurd things with them. Leave them how they are, they're meant to be rather specialized.

Lower levels are the ones that dont use them(if they can think).
As a lower level you havent got enough SP to waste on skilldumps. |

The first time I leveled up, when there were no radiation resistances on AI, I used a Point Defense on a Hotrod with Radiation Control 15 or so, oh it rocked my world. I even took the setup to an entire new level, and made a Pretty Boy that multifired 2 Point Defenses as a speedy berserker, and I used it to kill Cleft Thorns and Parsleys and other AI. I would say control skills are pretty damn awesome for both higher and lower levels.

Alas, they nerfed both the range on PDs and radiation damage... so no more of them!
