Just a thought, whenever something new gets added, why not add it imediatly to wiki, that way wiki stays up to date and the item has full information. I know this takes the fun out of finding new stuff so mabye make like a 2 week wait once new stuff has been put in and then add it?

I'm going to type this one quick, because every second I stay longer in this topic the more IQ I loose from the sheer stupidity of this suggestion.

As convenient as this would be, it's also not the developers job to do this. At all.

It depends on the game. Some MMO's update their wiki's. Others don't, probably due to lack of manpower to do so.
EVE Online, for example, has a wiki run by CCP Games, the software company that founded and continues the game. However, the only things their admins do to their wiki is update the item database with correct stats and the basic description for their mission templates. The players must update the database on how to get said items, and how to do any mission that may pop up. Which, tends to make the players form their own guides to getting items and doing missions; CCP doesn't tell you how to do or to get, it tells what are the stats. _________________ Salt Assault drew this conclusion from the latest devblog. I don't think content devs sign them over the internet but... it could still get messy. _________________ http://forum.starsonata.com/download/file.php?id=8119 SunDog60 wrote: targeting my OWN slave because... reasons, and then MIRVing it. |

Who is timmeh?
Add the item names, let players find the stats. _________________ Jey123456 wrote: That will happen in a future closer than most futures. No Context. Idaten. bageese wrote: We've been against saying any solid dates until we know for sure when something is coming in. |
