Can we have the 100 million space whiskey need reduced in quantity, even if it means other items are added to this bp? I think that its very difficult to get a space whiskey production up of this quantity. It seems too difficult for what is supposed to be the first level of research.

The bp is meant for people who can get a good economy going. I think it's fine the way it is

It's doable for 1 uber player (see: Limpa) or a couple of guys linking two or three gals to a single prod.
Maybe ask other EF members to help? |

I managed to do it back when USA was around (so over a year ago)...
That means it should be a lot easier now with all the extra gals that're around (and also the new extractors). Kanga _________________ Illegitimi Non Carborundum |

There has not been a single person who has built ACAL's this uni.

One person with one account generally cannot do it alone. I think this is his problem. He might be trying to do it on his own.
Limpa had 2-3 accounts dedicated to his prod iirc. That being said, if you can't do it alone, get with some teammates or use Jey's super prod? |

I'm sure that's more a problem of the demand not being strong enough to compensate for the method of supply being commod intensive, rather than the fact that the method of supply is too hard. And I only had one account Church, just 4 bases on an oats planet with normal harvesters iirc. Kanga _________________ Illegitimi Non Carborundum |

I dropped a dozen exe's on Tiered commods. Then I couldn't get enough exe's on the oats.
The thing I saw with most people(or teams) that try is that they don't focus on that research. I can tell you RSI has pretty much canceled our research, mainly because it's getting swamped by everything else thats building/being worked on. |

I started cap laser core research 4 days after the start of this uni. I ended up cancelling it a few days ago when i realised it was at 5% and the uni is coming to a close. Everything in the prod just took priority and so it was always paused or didnt' have enough materials.

I have transformed 100 of those calcs into t18 ones so far, I dont see what the big deal is. Just be patient and watch the commods go up. also, the high commod cost counter-parts it's low credit/high tier commod cost.

I agree that 100 mil space whiskey or 400 mil space oats are very extreme. But to make a change is something I am not in favor of doing. It is tying up a lot of base slots. I have a partner and we are at 50percent. I hope we make it before the end of the uni.

honestly, I really don't think it is that tough - I've done it once before and have often considered doing it again - making them simply involves planning to make them a main project for the uni because they require several slots and a number of slaves - I just consistently choose to do other things because there are more profitable ways to distribute my resources. I will say the one time I did do it was quite a few unis ago before I had the base resources I have now. In my opinion, it is more of a mid-late game/early end-game project - to most endgame players it simply doesn't return enough compared to other things.
