No specific support for mac is planned at the moment, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't get it to work somehow.

Win for those of us running Windows via Bootcamp on Mac computers. Seriously, my iMac eats C2's highest quality graphics for breakfast and is still not full!
Anywho, someone in the past mentioned that characters could have in-game avatars. I can't remember what Jeff said about this exactly, but I think it was positive. Is that still in the plans? Also, the Grav Disruptor should create a sudden sphere around your ship. This sphere would simply have a high refraction index causing the background to warp. Windows 7 Permission issue, please add to your list:
SS2 currently saves to the /program files[x86]/Star Sonata2/config directory. If a user has UAC enabled their client will not be able to save client based configuration due to the default permissions on this directory. Should this entire directory not be saved under the users local directory structure? That or change the permissions on this directory during installation (2nd option not preferred). * If you are experiencing issues where for example the ingame tutorial voice must be turned off whenever you start the game, this is likely why. Disabling UAC is one solution until an appropriate resolution can be completed. |

I am aware, however the issue is the permissions and location of the directory.
Its not exactly an uncommon issue with a number of games and applications. Editing the permissions on the directory itself also works, and is far more secure. Both solutions resolve the issue in the interm but a more permanent solution would be appropriate. |

when is the update to switch c2 from sse2 to sse coming out? I have yet to find anything on the forum about it and I STILL can't play the beta even though I have a key (which is probably void now) last time I talked to support I was told a few days.... The SSE2 to SSE update should have been towards the top of the To-Do list since some players like myself have an older system and I'm not going to fork out hundreds of dollars on a newer computer just to play the damn game.
