As a tech, I really really really like shortcut keys. If i can avoid it, i don't use the mouse at all when I'm working on a project. I reimaged 16 computers today and by the third one i figured out how to do it all with minimal mouse use. Anyways, it would be cool if we could open the following things with shortcut keys:
every menu/popup box from the bottom bar Selected slave inventory <moar to come?> Also: make a suggestions sub forum for C2? _________________ Pies are yummy. |

Shortcut keys for everything on the bottom bar are on their way soon. (Finished, but not yet committed.)
Shortcut keys for things like slave inventory from the 'x' menu would be nice, though I'm not sure what those shortcut keys would be, since the 'x' menu in c2 doesn't really have exclusive focus. _________________ For support, please create a support ticket here and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Feathers wrote: seeing as shift already does slave commands, shift x what exactly do you mean by that? Though after reading this I figured out that shift+click makes you actually target your slaves instead of just.. what do you call that, "selecting" them? Another idea for a shortcut key: select all slaves/drones/bases. And deselect, since you cant actually AP your ship by right click if you have anything selected; though this is less necessary since during the times you want stuff selected, you wont be APing. _________________ Pies are yummy. |

thats still not really an explaination... because shift doesnt actually affect anything, as far as i can tell, except targeting slaves vs selecting them.

ah i see what it does now. you can set up a series of commands to be followed using shift... but single commands are set up just with right click.
