Post C2 Client/Server update July 20
* Fixed up the user base description setting dialog

* Fixed up the Neural Keysync debris

* Fixed tractor beam crash

* Fixed a bug where right-clicking elsewhere would center your galaxy map

* Fixed a bug with the scrolling buttons in the AI base trade tab, and made it so it only displays the valid scroll buttons

* Cloak effects now working on all ships

* Yellow stasis graphics working on all ships

* AP text is back

* Added configurable key for chat initiation (e.g. "enter" or 't')

* Fixed the bug where you couldn't target things while docked

* Fixed the equip and unequip options from the context menu in the user base item list

* Fixed a bug where you could get an empty item list tab in your user base after redocking

* Made it so that Windows doesn't process F10 so we can use it for a hotkey without pausing the game

* Added Marquee animator to long galaxy names in the bottom bar galaxy widget

* Add RTS-style selection rectangle so you can quickly select your possessions to make them ready to receive an RTS command. Shift toggles between orthogonal selection and planar-aligned selection. Space toggles which corner you're dragging (though we're going to make those both optional features of the selection rectangle - for now, it's more to test what we like better.)

* Fixed up the GRAPHICS_LVL tag so that we can select which effects get shown in which graphics level, speeding up the low and medium graphics setting and allowing us to go more nuts on the high stuff

* Fixed some transparency problems for some graphics cards when they have anti-aliasing turned off

* Added a ton of randomly generated nebulae to the c2 random galaxies

This is so so so cool. So cool.

Can we get a quick de-select all button? I keep wanting to left click somewhere else just to de-select. Seeing as how easy it is to target now, perhaps left clicking on anything else, even to select something, should unselect all selected things? I feel that could be too bothering too, a button may be better.

Edit: Dragging a box over none of them deselects all, problem averted!

Yeah, since during a fight, you'll probably often want to just keep all your slaves/drones selected while you click on other things, I don't think left-click to unselect would be good. Dragging a rectangle around nothing to unselect seems to work pretty well, imo.
