Pax ships dont glow different colors in c2.
Dark Suns really, really hurt. More than red giants. The nexus levels (0-20) seem a lot more difficult than out in the actual universe. Not just leveling, but even playing. The universe map doesn't show you the info of the galaxy you selected, only your current galaxy. It doesn't show DFs for either of them. The UI lags about a second or two behind mouse commands. The lighting seems a little... TF2ish. It's not very realistic, but it looks good. Graphically, Bases suck. More as I play. _________________ Star Sonata is not ready for a release on Steam. They aren't actually dark suns. Dark suns look more like hollow spheres with a somewhat water-like texture. However, The 'A-class' blue suns are just really, really hot. Red giants wouldn't do as much damage as one of those in reality...
Oh wait, Why is realism suddenly important? _________________ Jey123456 wrote: That will happen in a future closer than most futures. No Context. Idaten. bageese wrote: We've been against saying any solid dates until we know for sure when something is coming in. |

I haven't seen any UI lags, myself. Is it everything, or just some specific things that are lagging.
Also, Jey is working on getting the new userbase graphics in right now. _________________ For support, please create a support ticket here and I will get back to you as soon as possible. About Star Sonata. |

It might be the massive change in memory usage. I know for a fact it doesn't lag...at all, on c1. 60fps.
But I'm lucky to get 15fps on Beta. -UI lags 2 seconds behind(hotkeys, inventory, character buttons, etc) -Keys lag 3-5 second behind. I press D key to turn, it turns after 3 seconds and I face 180 degree direction change. This is with a Coal Furnace. Impossible for me to chase anything down, and escape is impossible for anything that uses energy damage with 20%+ crit chance(Space Rats). _________________ Salt Assault drew this conclusion from the latest devblog. how much memory does your system have available ? Tried the low quality texture option ? if your problem is memory related, that should fix it.

Not a memory issue. I have everything Church does save the movement lag. No detail level changes this issue. MULTICOLOR PAX GLOWS. FIXEH. _________________ Star Sonata is not ready for a release on Steam. See this topic for what we think should be done about it. viewtopic.php?f=107&t=59132 |
