Post Re: For the record
SBP has lost base gear in battles before, on many occasions. Did we complain? no, we assumed the risks.

We lay 2 kits in a galaxy, you could have put down 3 of those same kits and have beaten the opponents.

The nice thing about BvB is that it's a ressource sink. Sure we get gear that carries over from uni to uni from capping bases, but ressources required in building the kits for BvB battles requires team dedication, possibly the biggest advantage SBP has over most other teams.

After seeing how abundant high tier ressources are (not to mention when we were getting 2x the ressources at some point in the past universes) it is would be interesting to see BvBing being promoted in this game. More cash sinks are required in this game to bring it's economy down to an acceptable level.

Speaking of cash sinks: Taking away GG has its pros and cons, but the alternate system needs revamping because repairing a full set of t21 tier 3 gear only costing like 300k credits is broken.

Sorry, just shooting information in this post. In my eyes there are more important matters to be evaluated which would bring the game into a balance.

Also, economy strength is directly proportional to the risk involved. A variable I have not seen evaluated in many teams (from my subjective/empiric evaluation).

Everyone always opt for the strong economy/high risk approach and then go and cry to the admins every time they are faced with the losses involved. If you look at the reality of things, the governments must not and does not get involved in private affaires (in the capitalist world) for obvious reasons. If they did the economy would die and faster than you can imagine.

Yeah, we built them on Progress all the time, taking on up to maybe 10 bases at once without taking a dent.

Or an army of 30+ at a time...

Indeed, they dropped 2 very nasty kits during that war, one that almost solo took down a gal of 8~ t20 kits (2 Ada, 6 Dem) and 6 t16 healers. The second was simply unkillable due to being a defense kit in their gal ^^

If the base wasn't denting under multiple kits, they weren't good kits. As for a zerker being *literally* one shotted, assuming the zerker is in at least a t20 or 21 ship, the only ways I can think of to lower your resists that bad would be to have the system recompiler equipped combined with an impassable protection. Unless something else was off, like the zerker had a travel shield on, or had died many, many times without repairing, that's the only reasonable explanation I can think of.

If the base was able to literally do that much damage to a zerker though then every single other player and base the kit was targeting would have also taken relatively insane damage.

You literally know nothing about that item. Don't mention it. Only I know the true stats!
