Post beta/testing server
I dont know wtf it is called but the server where crap is tested before it is released into live SS to break stuff.

how do i get into it and does anything i get there carry over into live?

And NO! Player data is moved to test and dies on test. Anything you get or do on test is just so much wasted effort except that it helps the dev team and in certain cases a player will use test to try out new aug combinations on their ships.

That'd be cool to have a really cheap gear shop on test, just for testing out setups.
