The game tells you the Dangerfactor of the galaxy with numbers 0-500something, 475 last universe. If you actually looked at the map, you'd know and won't be shocked when people tell you 425 when you know the server says 4250. Previous to that comment about the server telling you a number ten times higher, there was almost 10 years of the game telling us the smaller number. No mention at all about what the server says. From a player's perspective, how do you know X if you cannot know X because if you knew X you were not a player but a code/server and completely screw up the original criteria?

No, 4100 is what you would of seen in game, were it displayed. Also, in code/XML, Dfs are smaller, not higher.
