Ended up trimming down the improvements that SS could do. Doesn't fully explain all the little points, but I think all the main points are enough so you understand it.

why is there no question about the lovely weekly changing forums (missing 2 subforums for example)

Which 2 forums are missing? the updates and news forums arent going to be used anymore so they no longer show up on the board index page. To get to those click on dev notes then you should see those forums.

Honestly I don't know what happened to cause the Community category (Gen Dis, and off Topic) to go above the Support tab (help, guides, bugs). Our forums have been pulled, poked, prodded since they were originally created years, and years, and years ago and that has resulted in bug after freaking bug. I tried to fix it once but then it automatically went back to the broken order (the current order). Since people hate change, I'm not touching it anymore and leaving it as is.

As far as news and updates they haven't been used since we ported to the new news system and needed to be archived. That's all that's changed.

Good to know that the current order is staying, i think im with many people who dont care too much on the exact order as long is it stays. Having the order change every few weeks is confusing and annoying.

Agreed. We were having massive residual errors with the team forums, and after they got deleted we had some fancy script to fix everything back to the "correct" order, which wasn't actually correct. So I decided to fix it, and then something bugged out on it AGAIN causing it to revert to what you see now.

So screw it, I'll leave it alone and let it do what it wants. Stupid forum.
