I thought I was on Reddit and tried upvoting this...

But seriously, if you don't enjoy the game then leave. I've been beyond happy with this game for years. I know there is definitely spots that need to be improved (A lot of spots), but I know that for a side project for everyone that works on it, it does extremely well. If I could add a hand in to help them I would.

Ah, the 90s, everything was much simpler back then. World's gone to hell since the millennium.

Rest in pieces, greatest era. ;_;

maybe you're just growing up and your mind is like, stahp ss, it became dull, y u still play?

i'd subscribe again for a c1 style star sonata, this game is just too much safety, rules and pvai. no adrenaline rushes because you were flying without glue after you got smacked in the face by a few panthers that were docked in tech 1 bases with stealth augs just waiting for prey.

for me, the feelings, emotions etc you get from being chased by enemies or chasing enemies yourself, the adrenaline rush you get if you get into a dogfight and kill the enemy while surviving with less than 1k shields, those moments you scoop up a gear glue. those priceless moments you or someone else loses some good equipment. pirate teams formed so they could pvp other people and plunder their ships and not so well protected galaxies.
and yes, i'm an adrenaline junky

a key pillar collapsed, thats why many quit when c1 went c2. with all the new players it could be too late for big changes in the pvp section.

c1 can be seen as starport GE with a nice mmo formula, unique in its own way.

c2 is a great game for people who want to avoid pvp interaction. a 2d space mmo trading game with 3d graphics. a lot of pvai but in the end, the mechanics are similar to most mmorpgs.

The idea was to make it more carebear so that the new player wouldn't ragequit. They quit anyways. Turns out, it's a PvP game.

I just asked Jey to run some numbers that would indicate how our changes to the low-mid level game is doing, and we have had a great increase in new players and also a very good increase in active low level players :)

I'll see if he can publish a graph in a few weeks from now :)

How many of those have unique IP addresses?

Post subject:  Re: Star sonata

The numbers I got from Jey are solely for unique IPs, so it was those I was talking about :)
