And I guess this new type of bindomite should wipe all existing mods before applying the new ones. _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer. Definitely not a bad idea, the challenge then I suppose would be balancing availability with how fast you want it to counteract what has already been done. The best way I could see to do it would be raw credit cost to help reign in the obscene amounts of credits floating around now, that way as credits become more valuable the more expensive versions of bindomite would become less viable and the regular ones would see increased usage. Then it would always be sitting there as an ad hoc fix specifically for the event that credits start inflating again. |

I thought was a pretty good idea. However like i think someone else stated, this wouldnt change that unbindo reset bug. _________________ "I still miss the Crack Whores..." - Jeff_L |

You would get the item back but at least you couldn't stack 4 resets' worth of mods on it, which is the main problem. _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer. so if the problem is mods being grafted onto items
and the current proposals only temporarily remove these mods, until they're replaced a few resets later wouldnt the final solution be the removal of mods entirely? kinda silly to have two identical gear setups, but one has 10 times the dps of the other. |

The powergap mods create is stupidly large. _________________ ~DarkSteel / Auxilium Universe Map: http://www.starsonata.com/map/ |

Based on the past 5 pages it sounds like this game just needs a complete wipe. The damage is to extensive at this point and will take a long time (possibly years) to recover.

It won't recover. People find new ways to exploit every uni and it takes devs atleast 3 to act upon them, lol.

Clean slate for the game when it launches to steam is actually not the worst idea I have heard. That way some veteran players will stay with their knowledge, and probably found new teams in which they will level with and teach the new players while progressing through the new content.

I agree 110%. I whole heartedly think this is the best course of action unless someone can convince me otherwise. Thoughts? _________________ |
