andsimo wrote: Could you add used and available combat, Wild and trade slave slots on the ship window or the account window? this or make /slaveslots work. But Pixel, seriously... this is exactly the crap the SS community is wanting to see. Seemingly basic changes that will allow not only organization, but navigation should hopefully be much easier. By creating something as posted above, we can keep tabs on our multiple assets as one my biggest challenges is managing all the characters (Look at signature...) and everything they own. (Who's Who and What's What). I currently have a super intense notepad file that does the job, but having columns for categorized items who help exponentially. We love this, and you. XO

Possibly in the future, but not currently. andsimo wrote: Could you add used and available combat, Wild and trade slave slots on the ship window or the account window? That is a brilliant idea! I'll try to push for that feature to be coded within the client so we can have that. Masterful wrote: Can you add tabs for Ships/Drones/Stations. Also, if possible, add an Alias column and allow us to name Stations/Drones, as well as making the columns resizable. This is also another good idea, will attempt to add it. When approaching something I want the community to be apart of it and influence the changes and even provide fixes. Improved the trade bay more (with Jey magic dust), improved the progress bars also: More progress bars to show off the update: Attached a skin mod for people to try out and possibly report back on.

Pixel wrote: That is a brilliant idea! I'll try to push for that feature to be coded within the client so we can have that. I wouldn't call it brilliant, but thnx. It is basically a request for UI elements for the commands/information used in the chat client. Other commands which should get its own UI: /mc /search Possibly some team / base commands, but I have not experienced this content yet so wouldn't know. Other suggestions: Increase the width of the target tooltip. It is too narrow for most ship names / team names. I seem to recall that it was kept as-is for users with lower resolutions. Either 1) expect that those lower resolutions are not used any more or 2) implement a min-width, max-width setting for the UI elements can mitigate it, or 3) make it resizeable? Include a skin chooser (drop-down) in the launcher window. I like the layout on the SS UI, however the colors and other design choices makes it look old. There are more modern choices available on this forum which could be included as standard options.

The suggestion towards a /mc I have a idea for but will see if anything becomes of it. /search I don't understand it already uses the galaxy map? The UI skin chooser is a good one, will look into it. Was planning to try and get some custom skin mods people already use into the client package, but again will look into it. Here's some more updates, this was achieved with a lot of help from SI for the new code to present this new info. Little bar on the base slots shows total account base slots, and the little bar on combat slaves is the wild slave slots. Some of these bars wont be working correctly yet as its still being coded. New User Base Control Panel (Added a log export, semi works). Base Log Export (Undock > highlight > ctrl + a > ctrl + c > done): Masterful wrote: Can you add tabs for Ships/Drones/Stations. Also, if possible, add an Alias column and allow us to name Stations/Drones, as well as making the columns resizable. Attempted this, cannot do it without code access sadly.

Re: User Interface Update
This all looks great! I can't wait to see all this implemented, if that's even a plan.

Wild slave slots too? Since they're separate from combat slaves.

I'll make sure one gets posted after our meeting next week (we have our big weekly meetings on wednesday, which is generally where we gather the info to post the weekly blogs from).
