Minch is the only pvp guy i remember from back in the days, asshole made me a drop a vigi cata once. Good times. I remember everyone praising Helro (DIE) all the time, but i never got to really see him in his glory since we were on the same team. But my personal pvp legend list is:

Scyron - My sensei, really cool minds his own buisness type of guy but absolutely wrecks in pvp. Seer/Engineer specialist.

wex - he hacks, his SD is a cheater and his monk never dies. I hate him.

Fruits - Jiggly Butt Gang legend, they really wrecked all of SS for a while

Salt - i have a lot of fun pvping this guy, you never know wtf hes going to do but for sure it involves a Ship Mastery Aug.

Blue - I just remember having to try hard against him.

ThunderStrike - Had a annoying SD, tough to kill for a while but only a while

Masterful - Fought his gunner once and was impressed. Granted i was on a SD but he still was a beast.


Im sure i forgot a shit ton of people but thats my list in that order! For now...

Barry Scott was his character. And yeah, he made Tallon's lion look like a kitten.

Toth was an amazing Seer, but LichG deserves a mention too.

JumpenJack was awesome and had a unique Lion Sniper that ate anything. (Tallon rose after JJ left, so it's hard to say who was the better [I believe he switched to Zerker too]). Goldstar stations was an honorable mention here too for finding a use for jux's and being a successful stealth sniper.

FallenTemplar was probably the best SD, his Unt Fwing would rival Panthers. This man was ahead of his time with every setup he did. Shoutout to DIE, he was pretty wild and RevolutionPower for being an incredibly tanky SD.

LeonardMcCoy was the best Gunner I saw, his dread missile spam and MF Cap Lasers was amazing at the time. Octopus also had a cool izer setup that would rain hell on you from 10k away.

Pre-Gear Glue removal the best FC (Probably the only FC) had to go to Qu4ntum; only saw him in action once, but it was still pretty cool. Special mention to Jey too, I fought his slave army once and lost quite quickly, otherwise never saw too many FC's in PvP. Though, RE dread spam against Bana was impressive.

Best DM in C1 was always Aortal in my eyes, dude did some magical things with drones and bases. Special mention to PowerPlayer as well, had a mean army of Mzungu Mining Defenders against myself and DIE when we went to war with TFC over a stolen copper commod.

Story time: Back when there were no instances and copper was a few days lockout, Helro was getting me Equipment 20 in his Death Striker and I in my Izer. TFC clashed with us in Copper 7 (Even though we were there first) because they did not believe that we could kill the Copper blob with just the two of us, they had a 4-5 man squad for reference (No multi-clienting here, folks) and warped in with us to kill the blob, needless to say because the both of us were Speed Demons / Fighter Ace, we got into the boss room before them and were shredding the blob quite quickly. TFC joined in despite us telling them to leave and then DIE looted the commod once the kill was complete (No squads or "This debris doesn't belong to you" back then either) which TFC saw as being an act of Ninja-Looting and so a short war was started. The End.

Blast from the past tfc.informe.com , as I was a previous TFC officer, I had access to the war planning of the forums and used it to our advantage to beat TFC. I was quickly found out and my account from the forums along with all my posts deleted.

I remember my ares base dying to some guy in a hotrod that had like 3k range on mags using artemis augs... I was very sad

I don't see how that's surprising. From what I know, Ares bases don't have much range nor do they have high shield regen, right?

That's all I knew back then. I chose to exclude characters with RC 14 slave swarms because that's quite easy to get and doesn't take much skill to control.

As if I knew that back then..... I thought bases were unkillable, especially by some tiny hotrod with a magcannon
