Was posted right before I could grab Hober and DarkSteel's attention. Already in game.

Before I could get Hober and DarkSteel's attention, I posted it here hoping someone would go "wtf is this broken shit!? this is never ever going in game."
Been in game for ... well, then endgame players used Panthers augged CaP, Speedy, Spacy, Sup. So, at least 2011? And guess what? As soon as Hober and DarkSteel went over the stats, I got that reaction on Discord. _________________ Reddit Space Invaders! |

What makes the testudo an awesome t19 freighter is not its stats, but its cheap cost. Most players sell it for <400 mil, if you built it its even cheaper. Selens and scruplings are fantastic, but they cost several times more.
Then again, the new t19 ships are both cheap and great for their respective classes. |

Testudo is overpowered as fuck, you just don't want to get nerfed... |

Testudo is overpowered as fuck, you just don't want to get nerfed... Um, question...how? No, i am still not seeing it. It is slightly less powerful then the Assualt behemoth and slightly more powerful then the turtle. It is more powerful then the Rhino, but then half the players i talk to say the Rhino is junk, so that is again perfectly normal, the Constables Aid is significantly more powerful then the Didus and even tops the Celestica slightly. If the goals is smooth progression from 1 through 22, then the Testudo is right where is should be, serving as a bridge between late tech 19 and late tech 20. I think the problem is not that the testudo is OP, it is that people are pissed off the 19-20 gap is being bridged. As is should. _________________ |

Assault Behemoth is an expensive T20 ship.

Of course the t20 ship will be better. Is the Panther not better than the Vazuk? Augmenters matter more than the ship itself so there's still a big difference between these techs. Testudo is a well rounded (pun intended) freighter that's easy to afford, setup, and pilot for the typical support focus character. Although tbh I prefer an OS 6 to the built-in Testudo's shell as a shield monk. |
