If I can add my inflation-adjusted 2c
I love the idea of a removal of space break +1 (again coming from someone who has MCed heavily) I might suggest alongside removal of the space break a further mechanic is introduced that punishes sitting still. Similar to how the alien bosses work, if a character is sitting still too long they simply stop regenerating shields/energy. Wont beak a run if your hit for a few seconds, would if your MCing 5 and dont notice because your not looking. Thoughts? Vorp |

Afaik, space brake was added to prevent noobs from drifting 500000000 out if they decided to afk while undocked.

I dont see a reason to punish Mcers.
People will always find a way to get advantages over the System somehow. The moderation in the game is just not strong enough. 1. i would like to see the Spex system so that the admins gain money from the ingame trading and not the so called "Supporters". Make a system like in Eve or Albion Online with a Auction which lets you buy and sell Spex for Credits which will self regulate itself. http://imgur.com/zEXoHGv Maybe make it a nice speacial gal a trading post of some kind with a place where people can meet to get runs. 2 Give Runs and Dgs a reason to be done by Solo and small groups of people that they can gain money from the Base Builder like dem and PPpieces. Its so important when you have a RUN with 8 to 10 differnt people that there are enough small junks of loot that people can gain more out of the RUN than they invest in time and repair costs or people will leave. (PPspace) a. How you did it in the event with the level items. b. Make Factories that you need pieces of in dgs that earn basebuilders more credits and let the bps drop in Runs and bosses. All the factories and items get destroyed after uni so people have to farm them again. Same for colonies and equip which gives tradeslaves a huge boost in stats but only for a limited amount of time. The only thing i ask for is to make the game fun for people like me that dont want to sup 4 accounts and make 20 chars so they can play with baseslot logouts and Run logouts by doing uz and oly every week 10 times. I just want a chance to be a small piece of this big game not destroying how people like to play the game. Make more than only one way to play the game valuable for your Players. Thank You CLXXXIII |

People will just go back to using custom macros and other programs to make multi-clienting easier.

Quote: Do not hack the Star Sonata 2 client, or servers, or use a third party program that manipulates the Star Sonata 2 client or server. So far there really isnt anything that would be beneficial to not MCing. Everything that has been mentioned here can still be done by someone who MCs, more loot for him if he doesnt have to share with everyone. Actually would it be possible if in certain areas, people got their own NB loot drops? It would at least encourage the greedy MCing players to bring along more friends on runs. Not necessarily a incentive to not MC but for sure a way to encourage more group play. _________________ "I still miss the Crack Whores..." - Jeff_L |

The main advantage a non-MCing player has over a MCing player is the fact it's one person active on one account, while the MCer has to divide his attention between multiple accounts. That should be how you discourage MCing.
A player on his favorite shooter game or simulator game can react to many different stimuli at once and use very good hand eye coordination to act out a complex series of maneuvers to win the day. A person who has to do this between multiple characters at the same time (discounting any time delay on switching) is not going to be able to react fast enough to changing environments to overcome the people on one character situations. Star Sonata waters down the experience so all players are effectively encountering a slow and relatively easy to react to environment that is the perfect conditions for MCing. In a nutshell, Star Sonata is a very simple and relaxed game as compared to things like World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and War Thunder Air Battle. MCing actually exists in many MMORPG's. The difference is that MCing in other MMORPG's is limited compared to the number of people who don't. In Star Sonata, I would wager half of the current and historic playerbase has MCed before. The number of MCers in a game like EVE Online, however, is probably less than 1%. compared to the 50% in Star Sonata. As Star Sonata has a very small historic playerbase population (1000 people at peak), this is a very bad statistic for advertising, as there is universal dislike for MCing on the internet. People can accept that for every 1000 people, there are 5-10 MCers. People tend to not tolerant for every 1000 people, there are 500 MCers. Quite a few people seem to correlate MCers to a kind of Chinese Gold Farming. _________________ ->Aces High ->Fortes Fortuna Juvat ->Up with irons |

This is Star Sonata not Battlefield 4 we don't have anti-cheat. That rule is nothing without a way to enforce it. _________________ |

HAHAH still with this shit, they will never remove mc'ing and because of this, this game will never get a decent player base to support shit that needs a bunch of players rather than a bunch of accounts. New ppl leave because they dont want to MC to compete.
You're always gonna have the ppl who are so invested in a bunch of accounts making up transparent reasons why 'the game needs it'.. its just sad to watch and its stupid, even though i never really mc'd all that often.. i did have 5 accounts.. and when i left.. this game lost all of that revenue from me alone. Fancy what would happen if 10 ppl with 5 accounts each left, the owners of this game might actually have to get a job ;p |

What do the admins think is gonna happen when people like Blizzara/Dr Feelgood/THRM decide to throw in the towel? _________________ http://www.starsonata.com/suggestions |
