Hey guys,

Been busy, but thought I'd start gathering some information for this idea.

Feel free to fill out the google docs below and I will start organizing everything.

Note: Please, do not edit/delete other people's information. Once enough information will be entered I will begin making a master sheet that can only be modified by a few individuals

I thought I'd allow each character to be limited to 2 categories only. I am debating on implementing a chess scoring system in instead of looking at pure stats (win/loss/draws). Might also do a unique scoring algorithm. Will see.

Feel free to ask questions and I will try to reply asap.

As for admins, could be cool to get some in-game promotion of this is we go forward with this. Also, if we could have an official video-recorder (or multiple) it could be fun to maintain battles documented.

It's a PvP Tournament. There has never been a working PvP Tourney in the history of SS.

We don't know anything about it. See above point.

How will it be scored? Is there any special events? Class vs Class? Above. Above. And Above.

I'm down but I am bad at PvP. :? Also haven't had a PvP setup (except a Sing Sphere) in ages.

Uh... because at least in other games you can't just bring n+1 clones of yourself to an engagement and expect to win.

But in other games if your in a squad with people and coordinate attacks you have a higher chance to win. Same concept in SS, if you dont MC then just get together with some friends?

Also ive wrecked people mcing 4+ chars with just one or two characters plenty of times, and ive seen multiple do it. You clearly never pvp nor know much about pvp. Only issue with pvp is the power gap between techs not MCing.

What I mean by n+1 clones is equally strong goons. There are very few mechanics in SS to exploit, almost no terrain, or any underlying anything tbh.

You've probably wrecked people MCing 4+ characters because they were MCing 4+ characters, you can't react fast enough when you have to split your attention that much.

The only crowd control that exists and is functional are tractor beams/grem cannons/Physical and Energy crits. SS PvP has been about cheesing the other guy/side, there has always been something or things that have been blatantly and brokenly unfair to play against. So when I say n+1 clones, I mean people abusing the latest and greatest.

Also, bear in mind, there are 2 classes that are basically considered useless at PvE who shine amazingly well in PvP... but there isn't any reason to PvP anymore...

I still have no idea why people willingly play on tilted view. Especially on low graphics. That looks like complete shit.
