Whether he should have known better is something that in the larger picture doesn't matter - SS has lost and will continue to lose paying people for stupid shit like this, no matter if they "should of chose one of those other ways" or not. |

as was mentioned in that topic already. There are discussions and plans to implement a way for p2p to become f2p again (and vice versa), but its not currently feasible under the current model. It will happen, but its not something we can just flip a switch and make happen.

One small objection from me... 9 times out of 10 we see these posts because someone went p2p for a month and got stuff they couldn't have without the premium subscription. Now they just want to use gear that an f2p should not have access to on an f2p. |

The only way I could see this working is how WoW does it; a character that has accessed any premium content would be tied to a subscription. For SS that would mean accessing perilous space, Serengeti, Olympus, w4, building in wild, having any one of a whole list of skills, etc...
So you could log onto you level 200 roswell, but not your 1k izer. |
