Post fc wild bots
quick post on dps for wild bots this uni

this test was done with just wild bots and no combat bots or amps

on blacktonal with AT 25, BT 30, IT 5,might of atlas 5, dam aura on

very strong test target 10 000 000 shield

5 Scruple 18 mins 11 secs only 1 test done

5 bana level 1400 6mins 53 sec average after 5 kills

5 single fire Bigger Greens 1400 5mins 52 secs average after 5 kills

5 mf forgones level 1700 ish 9 mins 30 secs only 2 tests, poor dps

5 mf icepicks level 1800 3 mins 52 sec average after 5 kills

5 MF Bigger Greens 1800 5 mins 3 secs average after 5 kills


any to add ?

Tested on the same drone as tonal, same exact conditions, but without IT5 (No IT) - 10,000,000 shield bank:

5 MF Bigger Greens: 4min 29sec average over 3 tests.

Two different sets of 5 MF Picks: 5min 34sec, and 5min 21sec averages over 2 tests each.

Guessing the augs on the wild bots made the difference. One of my Bigger Greens was Exc Damage and Exc Elec auged in addition to the standard Good Damage and Good Elec... other augs were not highly useful for dps.

Both sets of MF Picks had pretty terrible augs on them... mostly stealth, agility, thrust, capacity.

Will keep looking and testing. Didn't bother to test MF Forgones... they are pretty weak right now.

DS tested Subhattas right after me. 3min 41sec.

Further testing will include checking the aug loadouts of wild bot sets, and comparing probability for high-dps Wild Bots.

Maybe figuring out a way to standardise layouts on capped bots wouldn't be such a bad idea.

You could probably make just about anything justifiably radexable if it had its augs nerfed enough on capture.

Plus instead of having to balance against the worst case scenario and having 90% of wild slaves be ignored you'd be balancing against what you know people have.

Yes please, could we get a standard Aug set up on bigger greens ice picks?

Is this possible ? It would give the dev team more control over the exact fc dps rather than the guess work atm eg. Zues Augs to no damage augs.

I personally dislike that suggestion. I think it adds another layer of depth into the class. If you want ultra good slaves you gotta try a little harder than just clearing 1 dg level with radiation damage

Would rather clear a DG to get (virtually) any wild slaves to rebuild my fleet. But Jeff likes the "hunting down the perfect wild slave and takes a week to do it" facet.

That is literally the dumbest concept in the world though, it would make sense if wild slaves could enter stasis, but they can't, so anyone who wastes extra time getting the best ones, is just a fucking idiot.

i guess my point is this, all my testing is statistical irrelevant because each wild slave has a different aug setup.

all the other classes have set dps, a tweak on sniper does not change ect.

i just go with, there is no luck in chess.

What I see is people with less than endgame combat bots spending 1/2 an hour to an hour capping or getting a friend to cap the best wild bots they can RC then doing content a bit above their tier until they wipe, then head back to the same DG with 5 or more spawners of their chosen AI.

People I see with endgame combat bots tend to look for any variant of that AI and just cap it because they're only looking for something to augment their already not-too-bad main source of DPS.

But that's just what I see.

MF BrGs are still the best "easy to acquire" wild slaves unless they got tremendously nerfed compared to the others.

MF picks deal comparable DPS but are squishy. They also lack long ranged lasers that MF BrGs have that wreck SDs.

Level 2.1k MF forgones aren't radexable. Level 1.6k forgones lack DPS and are squishy. AI are also notoriously bad with torpedoes.

Green battleships have great range and durability, but lack DPS. Not sure how good their fighters are in the hands of a FC.

Bana spears are durable, but their DPS is mediocre.

Worth noting that Bana spears are guaranteed to have Bana augs, BrGs and MF forgones good elec and firing, and icepicks good thrust/agility/nimbleness augs, etc. Slave tweaking and imperial tweak make them relevant when choosing the right slaves.
