Sounds like a crapload of work that no volunteer would be able to do within a reasonable amount of time. _________________ ~DarkSteel / Auxilium Universe Map: http://www.starsonata.com/map/ |

What we can do and probably would have to do (since it's incredibly codedev time inefficient) is make different difficulties for every boss that would have this mechanic. _________________ ~DarkSteel / Auxilium Universe Map: http://www.starsonata.com/map/ |

On the other hand, face-rolling the boss means it is almost very likely you will probably but not definitely not get lewt. There are serious facts behind this pretty much proven hypothesis - i.e., I have tested it many times, and my data is statistically significant. Rhys's cleverly controlled trials hinge on the fact that he's a tryhard noob _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer. Actually, we do have an ongoing project to make harder versions of all T20 bosses that endgamers could have some fun with.

Void Mad Scienctist/Anaconda/Copper Blob/Bana Queen! Make em just do crazy things and drop the same loot or the built items/missions; like Void Anaconda could have a low % chance of dropping "Protection of Tobal" so it could be modded but not neurobounded!

Would not be that hard to have a "Choose your own difficulty" function. At the appropriate AI station in the lobby level of a dungeon (Lunacy, Serengeti Blockade, Lavanite, etc), you would pick a mission that warps you into a specific difficulty version of the dungeon.
Obviously, some dungeons need to be redesigned, such as Infernal Tempest, because the technical "lobby" galaxy hub is inside the dungeon, rather than outside. Then it becomes XML grunt work. Not hard, but can be boring rebuilding 50 odd dungeons 2-3 times over. _________________ Reddit Space Invaders! |
