IIRC, the July 2016 patch removed all class skill bonuses to missiles that don't directly specify missile in their description, making gunner missiles the only overpowered missiles.

These DG bosses are soloable too by a determined player, with the exception of Hives. Killing Delquads comes down to popping Adv. Blockers each time the Delquad is about to fire, which I can't do to save my soul. However, with the f2p restrictions on gear and skills, its extremely difficult to DPS down say, a room of 8 MF BrGs as a shield monkey or drone master. Sitting 2k away and spamming missiles won't work because of AI aggro code; if they can't catch you they will switch to something they can shoot (the missiles).

And I keep saying this, a t19 Earthforce Frigate/Destroyer/Cruiser/Battlecruiser is pointless when EF Battleship is a ship.

Edit: Found that the 10/28/2016 patch gave the Leopard/Primal Leopard 4 augs and appropriate resists for its hull class. Looks like recon classes finally have a mid tier light fighter to pilot (almost all other LFs below t18 are shit for missing a 4th aug).

Earthforce Battleship is very slow, very heavy, and has rather low burst dps potential. You'll be clobbered instantly. Trying to use the Travel Field Kiting tactic is much harder because of the much increased mass, plus makes you even *more* vulnerable than that Frigate. Also still slower.

If AI is too far away/too slow, they will turn back towards the center of the room. They'll only shoot at your missiles if they're up to 50% more distance away than their max range *and* are trying to chase you. They also only shoot if the missiles are directly in front of them. They ignore missiles hitting their sides/rear. Also, Zaphragi Cheetahs have 2800 range; Lancers, while weak, have 5000 range.

Missiles are overpowered because they have insane DPE and alpha damage from the salvo. Certain missiles like the aforementioned Cheetahs and Lancers have insane range. Even as a sniper you don't match that DPS, DPE, or Range with an 'endgame' setup.

You say you know everything about all classes (obviously because you made this topic), but in reality, you know nothing, are talking out of your ass, and lost all reputation years ago. I like to beat down little noobs that think they're hot shit.

Talking out of your ass? I've played as a f2p on a plane of skill that no one on your team even has or ever had. You lack the insight, the experience, and the understanding, you don't understand this game. Ship tech upgrades are never used on Earthforce Frigates because heavy fighters and light fighters are superior at kiting and EFBS are way tankier.

The teammate goes 200 speed on an EFF, without augs.

Oh sure the teammate can technically go faster with a LF or HF, and technically have greater defense as a HF, but it costs more. A lot more.

Why spend 250,000$ on a performance car that only has 10 horsepower more than a pony at 15,000$? Because BMW makes better performance cars? Or because you want BMW name?

The entire cost of the setup is ... Vampyre Heart is 600m, augs are 200m total, STU is 200m, ship is 30m, and got the shield and capacitor for free. So more or less 1b for the entire setup, achieves 95% effectiveness to your setup, which costs something like 50b?

The fact that it has to stay far away and lob missiles shows how limited that setup is. 2 augs means little weapon damage.
