Fleet Commander I suppose I chose it because it's a good solo class and I like the play style. Pair it with a shield monkey and you can do a lot with it. It's not bad in PvP either. |

My main is SD and there are two reasons for this. First of all, I like having a rock solid travel ships for builing bases, managing bases, buying stuff from shops, fetching prom, scouting Kalthi Depths, scanning gals, moving a burst playset to gal where a sniper alt is located. Also SD was the original class of my main. I was engineer during era when engi was the best base building class. Now I'm glad to be back to my roots. However, I see my characters as tools. If a non-SD would suddenly become the best base building character, I would not hesitate to class reset. Fun fact: shield monkey used to be the most common "main" for a very long time. |

My main's been SD since it was first made. Only period of time where it wasn't was in the EF war since SDs were terribad in PvP so I went Seer for a while until that war was over |

Originally was FC because I really, really liked games where I could command a small fleet and guess what FC is? Was a Seer main with the Pontius account (Hello Shafty) because I liked and still like the sneaky assassin playstyle. A lot of my single player games revolved around this ideal, too, at the time. Liked Seer so much and disliked how bad SD was when you lacked the gear needed to level that I made Max235 a Seer when it was originally a SD. Those idiot Zephyrs had some 100b "Leveling setup" where you'd buy one of the most expensive ships in the game and use a Death Mental pvp setup to level the character from 1000 to 1500 and then ditch the class for a FC dread setup. Back when 100b was a fucking huge amount of money, Panthers were still rather rare, and RE was infamous for being 100% nooby dreadnoughts. Switched main to Sniper because I liked the stealth playstyle and it could do so much more. Could lazily do DF300 DGs when my Seer (which was decently geared for T20) struggled in DF200. Now my mains are Sniper and Gunner. I can't decide which I like more. Also you have to like the class if you level 5 gunners in a row. |
