New player - confused already?

Post subject:  New player - confused already?
Just started playing SS2, got my little ship and the tutorial is asking me to enter a worm hole. I fly to the worm hole to be told

"Gate to <utara Gardens is currently blocked by Gatekeeper Supply Ship"
"Unable to jump to the destination galaxy. Cancelling autopilot"
"Jump was unsuccessful, retrying...4/4"

I've flown round looking for other wormholes, I've tried blasting the ship in the way, but nothing seems to work. I've asked for advice ingame but no replies.

Help? :(

Have you attempted to blow up the Gate Keeper ship?

I've logged out and back in, seems I can hit things now which I couldn't before :)

First of all, welcome to Star Sonata! Did you previously have the Gate Keeper ship targeted? Unlike many games, you must target your enemies before firing on them in Star Sonata.

Well, mostly. If something is already considered a "enemy" your projectiles can hit them, but they won't track them. If you want to set/unset a ship as a enemy, target it and hit X and a small options menu will pop up.


It might not seem too useful now, but later on you can control automatic ships/drones which will shoot any enemies in range.
