* All items are now stackable * User bases and drones can now get tweaks * Added the notion of hostile or friendly targets and different colored targeting rings and different sounds when you select different targets * Added target selection sounds * Added engine sound * Replaced some of the ambient music sounds * Added different sound for when you shoot something and don't do any damage * Drones no longer cause slaves who are on "attack my target" to re-target whatever the drone shoots. * Enhancement to energy capacitors * Made it so you no longer drift while evaporated (there was a bug in the previous code to prevent this) * Bases now have vulnerability to mining weapons proportional to their tech level * Fixed the BFD 9000 mission * Reduced the price you could get for trading bays and station extensions * Separate base/drone damage messages (/ShowBaseDamage or /ShowDroneDamage) * Trading slave evaporation fix * Fixed a loop hole for neurobound items * Crash fix for splashing lasers * Changed to error messages for when you try to take over a radiated base to be more specific * More specific docking denied messages * Changed the way ranges are calculated by projectiles to match the stated ranges in their item descriptions which is what they were balanced for * Fixed some construction bugs where a BP could use the same item more than once during a lag spike * Fixed docking speed aura mods * Fixed a PVP exploit where you could start shooting and then undeclare war and remain shooting * Turned off Nagle's algorithm for TCP packets * Fixed MF's spacing bug for narrow ships * Reduced item sizes on fighters * Fixed the Massif Trader Controlbot * Added support for external chat client * Improved server side logging for outbound traffic * AI won't add extra target choosing priority for drones and fighters * Reduced the cap on size of antimatter weapons to 10x normal * Modified Lunacy butterflies * Client will now cache visages for objects rather than having the server send what an object looks like each time you enter that galaxy * Added electricity cost to activate tractors * Reduced resist ring Spam * Removed duplicate electricity and visibility strings from some item descriptions * Fixed rounding errors for slow projectiles * More random projectile fixes * Fixed the Bulk Trader II missing visage * Fixed infinite loop crash bug * Various construction fixes * Fixed an evaporation bug * Fixed a bug where AI's were sometimes downgrading instead of upgrading * Downgraded the energy aug on Titan Drones * Scoped mods on weapons now only apply to the weapon with the mod * Fixed a bug where selling one of an item to a base rapidly would crash the server * Fixed a bug with the Mad Scientist's visage * Fixes for the particle visages * Fixed a bug where if you made a ship big enough, you could make the towing cost negative and get money * Nerfed shields on Mad Scientist and Albatross * Construction won't run at all if there are no free workers * A few permission fixes for bases * Added Speedy/Spacy Combo aug missions * Split out quest items that tell a story from the generic black box class and made the new story box items stackable * Added checks that total sell cost is positive * Increased the weight on a couple of starter items so new players in their Zebucart can control themselves more easily * Fixed crash with multiple stacked and modded items and completing a mission items * Fixed the jump distance being displayed off by 1 * Allow double-click to use a commodity (crystals) * Fixed some AP bugs * Deleted some old graphics that are no longer used * Fixed some "Add Trade Goods" bugs |

The wide firing points have not been fixed in general, but the fix is coming. Code for specifying the firing (turret) points on individual ships is currently on test, although we have not yet made the specifications for most ships. Check out the Earthforce Dreadnought, the Pax Astronomica, the Dark Freighter and the tech 20 battle thatch to see some of the new possibilities. Finally, I don't think the rapid-sell crash bug ever made it to live. |
