Post Make Buttons Bigger and let them change position
Is it possible to make the <!-- Action Button Grid --> bigger in size and let me change the position on the screen. So healer can use it as a action bar to see who needs heal and who not.

Would it be possible to make the action button grid the same way as the
galaxy map in game.

I've been working on a mod to do this for about an hour or so. I'll have something to show in probably another hour.

Took me a bit longer than I thought it would and I still have some bugs to fix with it, but what do you think?

It can scale horizontally to 50 items including drones/players/bases/slaves and can be moved by hovering around the edges and clicking/dragging. It scales from the left, but once I fix a few bugs, i'll upload a usable version and show people how to use it with the borders turned on.

The actual mod is finished, but I haven't made the new thread with instructions on how to use it yet.

Here's the packaged mod:

Here's a link to a photo album on how it works.

I have the background turned off on the actual mod window, but the functionality is the same. It will start it in the bottom right once you have something in squad or a drone etc. If it isn't there, you can turn the visibility on by left-clicking the targeting box. That was a workaround I had to make due to a UI bug that I don't have control over.

If you have any immediate questions, just ask here. I'll work on the new post topic in a little bit.

Don't extract it. Just put it in the content folder as a zip next to the default folder.

I downloaded it and it worked fine for me.

Press start, in the search bar type "%appdata%" without the quotes. Find the SS folder.
Open it up and go into the content folder. You should see a folder called "Default". Inside the content folder, paste or move the zip you downloaded. So inside the "Content" folder, you should see the "Default" folder and the "TargetHelper.zip".

That's all there should be to it and it should work. You have to have something like a drone deployed, or a player in squad for the target to actually show. If it doesn't immediately show AND you have a drone deployed or a squadmate or something, left click on the MAIN targeting box in the very upper right.

The only issue I could imagine would be that you have another mod installed or something that overrides the actionbar.xml or root.xml since this mod does need a root edit in order to function.

It should look like this:
