Can it please be coded different. When you get to a stage where he starts deploying claymores and mines, you won't be allowed to place/replace any drones, as there is a limit of 30 in the galaxy. Please fix/change that, as limiting certain people from being useful at all in there is stupid.

Destroying the initial drones helps with this 'problem'?

And, there goes that secret strategy.

We sorted it now by not deploying any drones at all. But when Hermes starts to deploy mines, you won't be able to replace any, even if you kill one of the initial drones, or scoop one of your own drones.

I'll look into it, but I feel he is already easy compared to the other Olympians, I don't want to just reduce the number of drones he drops.
Maybe I should up the range, damage and concussions to evil numbers, and reduce the number dropped. Or I can reduce the lifespan. Or you can find a way to deal with the problem yourself. Any other changes you feel needed while I am at it? (To make him more interesting etc) _________________ "What you mean you killed him cha cha cha?!" Support |

So, in other words, an Engineer Dread is more useful than a normal engineer in Hermes?
Don't have to deploy drones, same tractoring ability, elect/energy aura. _________________ Salt Assault drew this conclusion from the latest devblog. |

Replacing drones, and rescooping them is something that most engineers should have the ability to do. And also, if this is true, then how about each character brings 6 ares drones in there, deploys them, and suddenly Hermes can't place any mines, can he?
So yeah, I think it needs a change. |

My response was directed at you only, Church. That's why I quoted you and not Thermal.

Simple solution, make all of Hermes' drones perma. If you still want them to decay, I'm sure you can work in some kind of suicide command, but if they're permanant they'll use different slots than engi drones.

I thought perma and temp used the same slots? _________________ JeffL wrote: I stopped being able to totally understand that function years ago.
