I have problems chatting in the game!!!!

For some reason i cant chat (as in actually sending messages) and usually i cant even type (although sometimes i can). I just started so i might be missing something, but I've tried everything I can think of. [size=24][/size]CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!?
