I'm not sure if you're saying you'd get an extra from DM21, or if there is an extra... Cause from what I saw there is no extra from DM21.

I don't see the need to grant an extra slot from Drone Mastery 21 when ships over tech 20 get one extra drone slot per tech level (so T21 ships get 19 drone slots).

5 extra from Drone Research... I'm not so sure, maybe a better system could be made in general, I haven't used an engineer much since the changes, but I do find myself lacking the slots I need... Personally I preferred the old system.

Remember when I tried to petition to remove Concussions? Yeah, right. New systems stay, we work with them, not against them. Get it removed if you can. And concussions.

Lol, concussions are brilliant, they can easily make what would usually be a boring boss fight into epic fun.

As for the drone system... I'm not so sure about a straight up beef to the base numbers, but I like the idea of tying it to Drone Research.

What if, perhaps, DR5 gave you a total of +6 slots, so training DR to max would get you a whole extra set on your ship? Then a Freighter could have 24 drones (25 if T21).

Light Fighter would still be on 15, which may not be a great deal though.

Oh yeah, I guess I was never sure what it was that gave me 19 slots. It was either Drone Mastery 21, DD 21, or the fact that I was using a T21 ship. I never cared enough to check it.
