To Combustion: I know that I can't stop trashtalk in game, but don't post pointless flaming. You know as well as I do that LC is a strong, resourceful, and formidable adversary. Even if they were to lose the entire war, no one in the game could say that they do not somewhere respect their tenacity and ability to perservere.

To Metalgear: First off, I've always treated LC with the utmost respect both in game and on forums. The members of LC may not like myself or RE for our decision to enter into the war, but that is to be expected. I used to know the former Metalgear well - we spoke frequently - and I believe that regardless of what other people thought of him, you are doing his account a great disservice by making such posts. Also, I'll point out that the Lord Runningclam Character is not a combat character. I enjoy dging with an engineer because I find it challenging and interesting. However, I do not find PvP as an engineer to be particularly interesting.

However, I have fought several LC members on various alts of mine, particularly my SD. I'll say straight out that I'm pretty sure LC has taken more GG from me than I from them, but I've never felt my talents lay particularly in direct PvP. People seem to criticize Sharky for maintaining a homeland presence rather than being out in the fray, but apparently those critics are not aware that people who have a predilection towards administration, organization, and strategy typically find themselves far more interested in those aspects more engaging than the combat itself. There is a reason that throughout history, no matter what kind of organization you look at, the principle organizers spend the majority of their time, well, organizing.

If you want to criticize either myself or Sharky (or any other directors involved in this extended conflict), I recommend that you beat us in the game and point out the flaws in our strategies. I would find that far more interesting than pointless insults.

Respecting ones opponents tends to lead to much more interesting and all around fun pvp. To many folks take this game out onf context and forget the real reasons we play it, to have fun. Sero pirates and takes my GG a lot but does not stop me from enjoying our lovely shared moments of combat. Progress took my UL and favorite scoop (I still cry at night about that) yet the war is still not ruining the game for me and I still find most of the players pretty cool. Learn to have fun.

We are still willing to do a deal for that stuff.

Sorry to see you go KC, hopefully you'll come back after the conflict is sorted out. I do know it would be a damn shame for SS to lose you for good as you're one of the most enterprising players ingame and can come up with some of tghe coolest setups I've ever seen which other people would never even consider.
