Background
Aidelon was formed back in June 2008, with many of the initial members having joined from Light Commerce, with more members from the E.P.I.C. and Storm Knights joining later from the mergers. We have our highs and lows, yet despite this, we still continue to prosper, developing our team members and having a laugh as we do so.

Information
Our team is comprised of many people from around the world, with around half the members living in Europe, and the other half living in the US.

Aidelon is one of the few top teams not in an alliance and we pride ourselves in this, though admittedly this has led to us being the victims of a number of attacks from teams in large, powerful alliances. We feel that alliances spoil the game for a number of reasons, as they provide an unfair advantage over teams that aren't in alliances, as well as drastically reducing the fun of PvP in most cases.

Leadership
Aidelon operates a democratic system, where many matters are voted on by teammates. This ensures that the team is always running with the teammates best interests in mind. Comandor_J is the director, with RevolutionPower and goldstar-stations as his councillors. Our officers are involved heavily in leading the team, so if the director or councillors aren't online to talk to, you should find that they can help you out with miscellaneous issues such as aggro problems.

Recruitment
Although Aidelon may not seem to be an actively recruiting team, there is always room free for new members, be it more longer-playing experienced players, or newer players who might not have been p2p for that long. As long as you meet our recruitment requirements and are looking for a fun, friendly team, don't hesitate to contact an Aidelon member to ask to join.

Requirements
Aidelon operates some recruitment guidelines that the potential teammate should consider when applying to ensure that the recruitment process isn't a waste of time for both us and you. If you believe you don't meet all of these, such as the age requirement or the character level, don't worry; we use these to give you an idea of the sort of people we are looking for.

We are looking for players:
Ô¹ With experience or understanding of the game
Ô¹ With a good record (i.e. No scammers etc.)
Ô¹ Who are willing to put the work in to gain rank
Ô¹ Who are willing to help in runs
Ô¹ Who don't expect to get free handouts such as UZ ships/gear etc.
Ô¹ Who will be friendly and helpful to out of team players, as well as teammates.
Ô¹ Who are willing to conform to established systems and rules (i.e. Loot distribution etc.)
Ô¹ With a main character of minimum level 500, unless recommended by another teammate.
Ô¹ Who are mature (ideally over the age of 16, however this is not always the case)
