History
The team started out with me and my brother as a f2p PvP team. Run by me and my brother, our goal is to help new players become ready for the f2p PvP world and have a lot of fun. Its goals have changed quite a bit in the recent past. We now have a few low-mid level p2p members on the team (including my brother) who are interested in the aspects of PvB and BvB.

Important things to know
Yes, we are a pvp team, but please refrain from trash talking or flaming victims. Please keep a friendly tone during such events. This is so that everybody doesn't hate us. Anyone seen or heard about trash talking will be booted.

Do NOT camp your victims. Kill them once, and move on. There are plenty of people to look for.

We don't tolerate scammers. Anyone found scamming will be booted and KoS. If you experience a team member scamming you, please have a screenshot ready and let me know.

Try to avoid the bigger teams. They will come after us. Hard.

Currently, we will recruit anyone at least level 15, but they must fill out an application for me to look at. Here is the application:

Well we are not really pirates. Just more of a (semi) friendly PvP team.

Nice contradiction you've got going there. Might want to make your dual-pirate-not-pirate nature clear in your advertisment post.

Why is your team called 'ExcelStar Pirates' if you're not pirates... meh...

ExcelStar Pirates sounds a hell of a lot cooler than "ExcelStar Friendly PvP Neighbors" :p

There are a great many other names you could have chosen.

You could even, maybe, possibly, have stopped ego-stroking long enough to name your team after something other than your own character.

Anyway, I'm going to stop posting in this topic.

I actually made the character name because it was the name of the team I wanted. I thought it would be cool to have the director character the same name as the team.
