Sorry for having to remake this post, but I am no longer the owner of the Kinetic character that I made the original post on, and I do not want it to be hijacked

Contingency was founded by the merging of two teams, TheFederation and Higaran Empire.

We are *currently* a peaceful team, striving to outfit our member's hulls with the best equipment for their level, and develop our players to become self sufficient.

Recruitment

We are actively and passively recruiting from all ranges of experience, from: F2P so we can show you the ropes, to experienced P2Pers.

If you are interested in joining, or require our assistance in diplomatic matters, then do not hesitate to PM myself (Dark_one/disrupter etc), crakrJak or Lemon.

You may look at our team forums but most of the stuff is hidden from the public.

We now have a TeamSpeak server up and running, it can be joined via the TeamSpeak 3 client, at: contingency.servebeer.com

Yeah, and how long did it take pants to get into the top 10, now go troll somewhere else. That's a new team and their score hasn't peaked yet. The fact that they already scraped the top 10 means that if they stick around they will become a long time resident.

The fact that team scores update so fast means you can jump up and down the score board all day long. Mad+, Aidelon, Red Faction, and Contingency have been bouncing between 9th and 12th for the past two weeks.

What I meant was that most teams don't even get near the top 10. This team has been the best one out of all the low level teams so far.

Secondly, When you troll someones its when you force someone into an argument they cannot win. So take your Go Troll Somewhere Else shit out of this thread.

The reason why most "new" teams cannot get anywhere near the top 10 is the fact the older generations have been here for years. The team score change made it possible for younger and more active teams to reach the top 10, but unless they outnumber the older guys 10 to 1, they're not getting anywhere near the upper end of the top 10.

Right now, the game is split into four team groups:

- High End T21 Teams. Large quantities of high end players with nearly or fully equipped accounts put together on the same team.
Examples would be Zephyr, UnderDawgs, and Pancakes.

- High End T20/Entry T21 Teams. These guys may have Olympus ships and such, but they are either less in number or don't have fully equipped accounts.
Examples would be Heaven, Red Faction, and Mad+.

- All other P2p Teams. They're either too small or hopelessly outgunned. They tend to have only one character per person.
Examples would be Bloody Red Baron, Galactic Traders, and CFG Industries.

- F2p Teams and Solo P2p. Completely at the mercy of everyone else.



The team score change make the smaller active teams capable of reaching the top 10. The problem is that activity does not mean power. You could have a team of 20 T20 players. But they can lose their galaxies and die to a single T21 player MCing a Prawn and a HM.

The way the score goes means you could have very high team scores for very little amount of characters, so in essence, you can have 5 to 10 character teams that sit in the top 10 group.

Basically, activity is weighed too much and it artificially increases the score of a team that honestly should not be where it is.

It was Insanity, Projectile and his buddies' team. 12-15 characters over 3 accounts. Whether or not his friends still play, they were in the top 10. He/They joined Aidelon in the middle of this universe.

I wasn't talking to you I was talking to the ass clown who was trying to downplay their achievement. You should learn to comprehend what you're reading, because if you look closely there is in fact another person's text between mine and yours. Using the laws of deduction you could pretty well assume(were you not retarded) that if I was talking to you I would have quoted you, and not the gentleman who posted after you.

Contingency is still actively recruiting (as you can tell by all of Core's crazy bulletin board messages -_-) Pay to play members of any level, or F2Ps of level 500+.

I made the team InsanityImage, Projectile used it as his own for awhile.
