How To Capture AI Ships:

Ensure that the AI is cappable first (some also dont have free hull space for the control bot).

Make sure that you have trained the skill in Remote Control to a sufficient level for the hull tech of the AI.

Make sure that you don't have too many other slaves and thus dont have enough free slots for the capture.

Purchase a Radiation Damage type weapon and ensure that the killing blow on the AI ship is dealt with that weapon (Since radiation weapons generally tend to be very weak, it is reccomended that a stronger weapon be used until the AI's heath is in the "red zone" first.

Then switch weapons to the Prismatic Converter (PC) weapon and fire a prismatic Control Bot into the capped AI ship. If it is cappable and you have sufficient RC levels and Slaves slots it will become your slave and you receive all the credits it had onboard.

I (Goz/BAM5992) take no credit in any of the above content except that I was the one who "copied and pasted" it into the misc/guides section. (Actually I added/modified just a little bit so it seemed more like a "guide"), I still give all credit to Abbara/Tarik.

To successfully cap a ship you also have to have the skills to use all its gear. For instance, a SBG has a tech 12 radar. To cap a SBG you must have radar 12 (and same goes for weapon (15), equipment, shield, energy...)

As far as I know.

You have to buy the prismatic convertor from a player, or build one from a bp, which is found in the hidden base at glass matrix.

It takes weaponry 6 to use the prismatic convertor, the prismatic control bot is generated and used as amo by the prismatic converter, you do not need to put anything in it.

Is there only one hidden base, or is there more? The one i know is where i got the aether drones from. Also is there a lower tech one? and where may i find/get it?

You can find a Prismatic Conversion at Prism, which is warp Navigation level 2 to find it follow these directions; Sol - Mebsuta - Rotanev - Ara - Tiffle - Thurban - Awash - Lucien's Forge - Hercules - Celaeno - Tyro - Prism. You don't need a Prism control bot to cap ( As one if fired through the Prismatic Conversion). But if you need one for slaves and what-not they can be purchased at prism.
