I have a few teamies who level around 500~ with a capship ShM and capship slaves. It actually works nicely, the guys are tanks for their level.

I leveled my monk as a monk from the start, he is now about level 1k. To start with all the clases are about the same. I used a EF destroyer till i got my app ward, it made me into a tank. Use drone and slaves and dont forget the capship aura that using a EF ships allows u, it will help your slaves out. Find a buddy and go level. you and your buddy should be abble to get 100 level in bout an hour or two if you work togther under level 500.

Over level 500 get an App ward two monk masteries and an ares+ find some more buddies and go kill bigger things. Monks are easy to level because few actually want to be a monk. If your the only/first monk on your team rest assured you will get to go along on all your teams runs and leveling adventures. :)

two angel augs on a shrimp as ShM would completely destroy your shields, even with a giga gnt.
