Re: Seer, by Fear.
I'm trying to become a seer. I'm currently lv 71 with tech 9 in most core skills and 3 in cloaking. I just got into it and need some help. I use a banshee that I have down to 1 vis. Most of my weaps focus around range. Could you point me towards any specific equipment setups or layouts?
Thanks

Re: Seer, by Fear.
Seers try to sneak up on their enemies, not outrange.
Snipers hide in the shadows, then pummel their enemies from range.
Basically, it looks like you are trying to use a sniper setup for seer class.

Re: Seer, by Fear.
Just to correct you, snipers dont pummel much cause they get owned. I use range to my advantage on some weapons so shush Churchill fiend! Ok, you could go for a bank based shield, which hopefully will have low visiility. Remember to put a charger on your ship too! Beam based weapons would be best at range, as they can hit much more than manually aimed weapons. For your elec, AI base energys with nice bonus's will work, such as Ares Energybank+, since you have to cloak until you fire again. Your engine should be as low visibility as possible, as when you thrust people can see you! Just a few pointers, however i didn't play lower level Seer

Re: Seer, by Fear.
A decent guide I must say, however I beat your max hit by about 30k.. If you really want to take Seer seriously, you have to be unconventional, try out different weapons, even if they have been discarded as junk by 99% of the playerbase. Be warned, Seers aren't that good of a class to choose if you love DGing - hit a high vis level and your shit outta luck my friend.
Like I said, if you really want to become a powerful seer, you have to be unconventional.

Re: Seer, by Fear.
Just a normal Lion V2, Primal Lion V2 does less damage iirc because of its side effect, same thing with Primal Panther Fang.
