See, people often times think of leveling alts as a burden. The problem with that viewpoint is that they're MAKING it a burden, by how they're doing it! There are ways to make leveling an alt WAY more fun, you just have to think about a few guidelines as you're making the alt

1: When you start to make your alt, instead of thinking "What will work?", think "What will look AWESOME!?" Whether that be you killing stuff in your KMF, being followed by your swarm of mzungu acoylytes, or its making a level 50 char that can rape icepicks in seconds, it MUST look awesome. Because if OTHER people wont be entertained by it, how can YOU be entertained by it?

2: Use the wiki. A lot. Sometimes, just browsing through the wiki, you might come apon something that you think would match rule number one!
Plus, BSing an awesome setup rarely works. You must plan to achieve epicness!

3: Sorry, but sometimes you have to roleplay a little bit. Imagine yourself as an ancient mzungu fleet, with your mzungu disks at the ready to destroy all attackers! Or as a Faranji fleet, with your fwings at the ready to destroy all attackers! Or as...you get the idea. Imagination is half the fun here.

4. One of the FOREMOST things, is DONT think of what the char will be someday. sure, you might have some sort of idea, but branding a character before you even start it is the surest way to become ungodly bored. Sometimes, you might even be surprised at what the character turns out as!

5. Just because everyone says an item is useless doesn't mean it is! Sure, often times they're right, but occasionally, you get lucky! I mean, sure, my siege drones are epic crap, but i love them!

Um...thats about it. Dont forget to tell everyone what you're doing! "Epic mzungu fleet in sol, lol!"...dont mention its you though
I mean, everyone told me my KMF would suck balls, and sure its not as good as a pax astro, but when do you get 5 compliments per day on your pax astro, hmm? Yeah, thats what i thought.

Now this Cygnus, is the best post you have ever made. I have to agree, if you have fun leveling your alts, its all so much easier. I love my low level SD Unt Faranji Wingships, and I also have some nice Fleet setups, but I must say, this inspired me. Thank you Cygnus, this is awesome to be honest.

Yay! Best guide ever, I always look for fun ways (within budget) to level alts, midlevels ftw. though that might be why I still haven't achieved level 20 in anything but class skills .
