There's nothing to show other than what I wrote in the first post. Resistance augmenters don't multiply against your hull's resistance.

Wow, how come I never found this before?!
For some reason, I can't read math as text at all. The way it's formatted in textbooks and stuff really help. Would it be possible for you to use a program to create equations? Word 2010 can do it, I know. _________________ Click the picture! |

Well I started typesetting some math and then realized that it will take me
1) about 15 minutes of typing to get it all set 2) about 20 minutes of monkeying with screenshots and uploading files to get it all presented on the forum post That's a bit too much effort for me to do pro bono. If you are having trouble reading the math on this post (which is perfectly understandable) you should copy out the relevant equations onto paper where you can work with them more easily. My question here is why is it that when you have 2 augmenters that add the same +% effect the effect gets reduced.
For example: Augmenter 1 +50% shields +50% Rate of fire Augmenter 2 +20% shields +20% shield recharge If you used both of these you would not have +70% shields. I came to notice this when i equiped 3 rhino augs on my astro and did not get the +351%(117%*3) shield bonus that i should have. |

In the example you gave you would indeed get a +70% increase to your shield bank.

So two different augs will stack but two+ of the same augmenter wont? if so where is the reduction and why is it there?

aug tweaking 4%*level - 0.04 * 23 = 0.92
Augmenter (Rhino) - 1.17 * 3 = 3.51 Aug tweaking+augmenter(Rhino) - 3.51 + 0.92 = 4.43 Augenter bonus (4.43) * current shield 23000 23000 * 4.43 = 101890 (So the augs give +101890 shields) 23000 + 101890 = 124890 ----------------------- Zombie bunny stop x1 (Shield) Aspect of the rhino x3 (Augmenter) Augmenter Tweaking level 23 ----------------------- Please correct my math if its wrong XD |

I got 235731.6 with enk's equation above and 155001.6 with the fixed typo. +23,000 onto that and you get what enk got. you get a 92% bonus to augs with AT23, so you need to multiply the aug stats by 1.92 to get the original aug stats (1) plus the extra 92% (+ 0.92) _________________ Click the picture! |

No it's not a typo. The aug itself gives +117% shields. With AT 23 that becomes 1.92 x 117% = 2.2464. What I wrote is correct and the figure of 178k is the total resulting shield bank.
You guys need to stop doing math the hard way. When you are adding 92% to a number, just multiply the number by 1 + 0.92. Don't multiply by 0.92 and then add the original number. That gets the same answer but it's a whole extra step (and therefore an extra step that you can fuck up). _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer.
