Could anybody give me some ideas on how would I be able to convert the classic 11 BST Cap Ship ShM into a swarm FC? Also - is it actually easier to DG as a ShM with this setup or as a FC with a similar setup? Would the conversion still allow my slaves enough hull? Currently they have 2k hull space. |

I would imagine that Shield Monkey would be easier to dg with since BST's are almost always bank based, and they have 0 resists. Can't dg with dead slaves, so a class that is naturally good at healing...you do the math. |

Hmm good question,, I am sure that KC would say different, but here comes the answer. ShM slaves will do fine for DGs, u can do almost all DF dgs,, depending on the weapons u might not be able to do some bosses like hawk, delquad and hives. FC BSTs do have way to less shield bank in my opinion, eventho u can cloak them pretty fine. |

BSTs are practically the second best low lvl slaves in the game. U should be able to Dg with them easily. ShMs work better with BSTs b/c support focus gives higher bonus to freighters than fleet focus. Bottom line: FCs and gunners should use EF cap ship slaves (or BSTs in some circumstances) ShMs should use selens or scruplings b/c fewer, better slaves are easier to heal DMs should use goldenboys |

So if u can live with the speed of the BSTs use them, they are great for power lvling. Just think that every BST slave of mine has around 150k shied bank x11... it takes awhile till they die, so u have time to intervene and heal them before they start dying. Scruplings or Selens will do if u need more speed. |
