They had a prototype design, sure, but were pretty damn decent imo. they only started dpsing us when we got into reach of the pulses.
I cant recall who had laid them? was it the Jiraque char? _________________ All your base are belong to us. (They set us up the bomb!) |

While they were decent, they were nothing more. They were all deployed by my engineer (Thermal), who lacked a lot of tweaking, both to his skills and to the kits. Proper kits with the right fine tuning will easily be twice as strong, and they will easily be able to take out 10-15 standard T20 DPS kits on their own.

regardless, it was still 2 ada kits, point is, t16-20 kits can still do something and infinite slots would be dumb, on a lot of levels.

I can honestly not imagine a realistic number of regular kits that can DPS a set of BvB kits. That should not be a concern for this and again, if someone wants to spam StM kits to defend a single gal then let them. You could PvB around it, border it a few times and drop 4+ BvB kits.

or also change the slots of BvB kits? make it based on the number of slots there already is
something like: bases in gal / 10 * owned connectors if it is less then 2 BvB kits round it up, if its more round it down _________________ Valkyrie300 wrote: You need to thoroughly think before sprouting exaggerated statements |

So if there is more than 25bases in the galaxy, you can still deploy attached kits, but not unattached ones (to prevent "infinite" spamming). Planets on their own are already an hard limit on the number of attached bases anyway. Yes please. _________________ |

It would mean that the more defensive kits you lay, the more assault kits can be used. That's totally counterintuitive from a defensive perspective. BvB is already a very powerful mechanic and generally when the attackers know what they are doing (not just gear and tactics but also timing) the defenders get their asses handed to them. So any rebalance to it would have to take a lot of care. _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer.
