Wait until you have slashed the Prawn. If you do not immediately see a drastic drop in the power of multifiring then by all means Nerf Hydra Gear, though I am telling you the problem only lies in one ship and you all know it to be true, as you balance content around Prawns.

Only true to a certain extent. We still don't like how adding 4 pieces of relatively cheap gear suddenly increases your damage output by at least 30 percent. Mf2ing is being removed without a doubt. We are just trying to figure out how to boost the classes that indirectly suffer greatly from this change, mainly the recon focus ones. Until we do, we won't be taking away the multifiring mods just yet.

Didn't see that before. They would become useless as currently designed. We could think of some ways to buff them, though.

the problem isnt on mf itself, the problem is with the mf prawn, as other classes still are fine with mf gear.

They may not be as game breaking, but we are still not happy with the essential requirement of MF2 on Recon and Sniper (even non-Prawn Sniper). It's too simple and cuts out other styles of gameplay.

U need to have an engineer / shm to fully get the potential of it..
so it does not altere solo content.

right now, or at least when I've last played using them, they're not absurdly better than, say, advanced or engergized mf bots, and the difference between the two bot types seems very appropriate. I'd say buffing their MF bonus to compensate in a way that you still need the same pieces of hydra gear, and maybe proportionally nerfing its other stats **IF** the hydra gear's other stats get a beef.

If not, it'd be annoying and very wasteful to have spent time and money on them, but it wouldn't majorly change FC strength going back to advanced/energized MF bots.
