To sum it up, the Battle Sphere is massively under powered if you take into consideration the Paxian Battle Frigate.

The PBF has balanced resists across the board and it has a massive defensive and offensive in-built stats not to mention a really strong engine aswell as being able to hold 25 solar panels.

On the other-hand the Battle Sphere may have 5 aug slots but it lacks massively in in-built stats which 2 aug slots does not cover in the least. The 45k hull is useless as no player gear will fill the 100k hull after skill bonuses and it only being able to equip 13 solar panels means it has less powering.

So for my suggestion I'd like to see the Battle Sphere get better in-built stats like all of the other capital ships have and maybe reduce the hull it has from 45k to 8k. This would cut out the ridiculous hull for a tiny object. This can be applied to the Battle Thatch too.

You don't know what you are talking about. BS has highest raw power potentual of any ship ingame.

Raw potential to be the biggest glass cannon, it isn't even viable in PPS or T21 runs as stray shots will decimate it. You're clearly a PBF lover

They both have their strengths. I don't think we need to change the battle sphere at all. It has the highest dps output potential by far (probably still does),if you Aug for that, of any ship in that tech range. Pbfs are also fairly glass cannon but battle sphere is just a glassy step above it.

1 Trillion dps is useless when you're dead.

And that is exactly why BS is such hard ship to balance. I still stand behind my words of BS being the most powerful ship ingame in terms of it's raw power.

That's as may be, but the fact that the BS has such high potential DPS output means that we definitely cannot allow it to become any stronger than it currently is, for the reason Blizzara points out.

This would be quite strong with a deathblossom.
